This training covers:
The relaxation response and the central nervous system
general application, alignment, and propping of restorative poses
deeper understanding of the subtle energy body and the koshas
the nervous system, physiology & subtle energy body in restorative poses
the therapeutic impact of restoratives and adapting restorative propping and practices for individual needs and students with limited physical abilities
Sessions include restorative yoga practice, hands-on practice-teaching, therapeutic touch and healing techniques, lecture, discussion, and Q&A sessions.
Note Tuition includes a manual. Please bring a camera to photograph poses and an eye pillow if you have one. This intensive includes extended hours.
