lovingkindness as a practice of letting go

Metta is medicinal, and there are so many science-backed benefits of practicing Lovingkindness that I’ll share in a new series of meditations.

In this Deep Listening meditation, we will explore how Metta relates to our experience of ease and connection. Research shows that practicing Metta boosts hormones that help us heal and promote longevity; it helps us feel more connected to (and accepting of) ourselves and each other. When we feel more connected it helps us release our expectations and be more present with how things are – so we can respond, mindfully, with more kindness and ease.

If you would like support throughout the autumn transition — a season of release — I would like to invite you to join my slow flow & restore series, Return, Reset, Recenter. As we come home to our center, we'll have more resources to journey through transition and change that the autumn brings. Each class in this series will build upon the previous practice, inviting us to return deeper into our bodies, and a sense of belonging, at home, here now. Learn more here.
