Welcome.

Thank you for being here with me.

As a mindfulness teacher, yoga therapist, and dedicated practitioner for 30 years, I’ve seen firsthand (and experienced for myself) how somatic and self-awareness practices can bring about transformation, healing, and connection… in ourselves, in those around us, and in the world.

I’ve devoted my body of work to sharing simple, science-backed tools that support nervous system regulation—long before it was a trending topic on TikTok. Now more than ever, we need these powerful practices to rest, dial down chronic stress and high-level anxiety, and foster more compassionate relationships.

My signature technique—pausing and deep listening through LAR-LAR—guides us in learning the skills needed to release the tension in our bodies and minds, find calm and clarity, and rewire our habitual reactions, so we can choose how we respond to day-to-day complexities and challenges.

It’s my wish that our practice allows us to experience life in a way that enriches our sense of interconnectedness, belonging, and love, a few breaths at a time.

“Once we begin to befriend and care for the parts of ourselves that we have habitually ignored or rejected, we are able to listen deeply and show up in our lives, in our relationships, and in the world more fully and compassionately.”

MY STORY

This work is deeply personal. It comes from lived experience.

For years, I moved through life at full speed. I overworked, overgave, and kept pushing forward, believing my worth had to be earned through productivity.

Then a serious health crisis brought everything to a halt. Forced to pause, I discovered something unexpected: a deeper truth, a path to healing, and a more loving connection to myself.

That experience became the foundation for everything I now teach.

Today, I guide people through what I call the LAR-LAR Practice — a simple yet powerful method for learning to pause. In just 90 seconds, this six-step framework helps you shift from reactivity to presence by guiding you to: Land, Arrive, Relax… then Listen, Attend, and Respond.

While many people discuss the importance of pausing, I offer a grounded, embodied approach to actually doing it. LAR-LAR may be unfamiliar at first, but the experience it creates is deeply intuitive and transformative.

It also extends well beyond the yoga and mindfulness community. I’ve shared this work in a TedTalk as well as with government officials, top publishing companies, management consulting firms, as well as universities.

When you begin to understand how, why, and where you carry habitual tension in your body and mind—and how to work with that awareness—you can shift your experience of anxiety and stress. From there, you can begin to choose your response to the present moment, rather than continually reacting from the old, automatic wiring of your nervous system.

If you’re ready to begin again and live with more clarity, intention, and connection, I’m here to guide you —
one breath, one moment, one pause at a time.
