The Big Melt, Begin the Thaw

Pause to Soften Out of Winter

Relaxation begins in the body, we can’t think our way to calm. Our bodies are often holding on to a lot.

Before we build strength, before we bloom into the next season, we soften.

This short guided practice will help you:
• Release subtle bracing
• Settle your breath
• Support your nervous system
• Prepare for The Big Melt

How does your breath feel now?

• What softened?
• Where do you feel more space?

You might place one hand on your belly and take three slow breaths before continuing your day.

Let this be enough.

Want to take the thaw a little deeper?

Your body has been holding all winter. This slow flow is designed to help it start letting go.

In this gentle movement practice, we use breath-led transitions and supported postures to warm the body from the inside — releasing tension in the hips, low back, and shoulders where stress tends to accumulate. It's a somatic approach to gentle yoga: slow enough to feel what's shifting, steady enough to build warmth without pushing.
