An Autumn Chakra Reset to Feel Grounded & Ready for the Day
Now that we’ve crossed the threshold of the equinox, we find ourselves in the paradox of autumn.
Many wisdom traditions describe this season as time of release. Leaves swirl onto the sidewalk, our days contract, and nature invites us to let go of what no longer sustains us. Yet, underneath the surface, trees are also drawing their energy inward, storing sap in their roots.
In this time, we are also choosing what to let go of and what to gather that will nourish us through the season. It's an opportunity to pause, reflect, and make conscious choices about our energy.
Our practice can be vital aspect of well-being and energy management through this passage.
This week I’m sharing a 15-minute lower chakra reset for autumn to help you feel more grounded, rested, and ready to start the day. This breath-based exploration is a gentle yet powerful practice that incorporates slow movement, visualization, and sound.

This autumn, join me for a deeply restorative and enlivening journey through the chakra system, exploring its connection to the vagus nerve—the body’s main pathway for rest, repair, and resilience.
In this series, we’ll begin on the Autumn Equinox and move through to the Winter Solstice, aligning our practice with nature’s shift toward inward focus and restoration. Autumn is a time of gathering, grounding, and nourishing ourselves in preparation for the stillness of winter—making it the perfect season to tend to both our energy centers and our nervous system.
Each week we’ll focus on a different chakra, combining sound mantra, intentional movement, breath awareness, somatic exercises, and deep relaxation to harmonize energy flow and support your nervous system. You’ll also experience gentle vagus nerve tuning practices designed to cultivate a sense of safety, groundedness, and emotional balance. Alongside the experiential work, we’ll explore how each chakra relates to specific nerve plexuses and endocrine glands, and how the vagus nerve interacts with the chakra system to influence both physical vitality and emotional well-being.
